New Rules of BBL:

The Power Surge

Mandatory six-over Powerplay at the start of the innings was scrapped ahead of the 2020 season. Currently, four Powerplay overs are bowled at the start of the innings while the remaining two overs can be taken by the batting team from the 11th over onwards.

The X-factor

Teams can substitute one of their players from starting XI at the 10th over mark. Player being replaced can’t yet have batted in the match or can’t have bowled more than one over.

The Bash Boost

Four points are available for winning the match while three points are available for outright victory. An extra point will be given to the team which is ahead on the comparison at the 10-over mark of the run-chase.
